A Deep D-8 Sympathy to Pakistan in Painting

D-8 Secretary General, Dipo Alam, is planning to have a painting exhibition in June 2008, which will be held in assosiation with the commemoration of The Turkish Red Crescent’ 140th Anniversary, as a part of participation to fund-rising activities to the Red Crescent’s future humanitarian operation in the world. Among the paintings to be exhibited is one titled “Pakistani Woman at Chamlica, Istanbul, 45cmx54cm, oil on canvas, painted by Dipo Alam, Göktürk, 2007″. Alam said that the painting was by chance finished on the assasination day of Benazir Bhutto of Pakistan, and through this painting he wish to reflect his connection and deepest symphaty and to the people and nation of Pakistan.
