The 11th President of the Republic of Turkey pledges continous support for D-8 Organisation

Following the recent congratulation by D-8 Secretariat to the newly elected 11th President of the Republic of Turkey, H.E Abdullah Gül, on August 28th, 2007, the D-8 Secretariat received the courtesy greeting from the president.

In his letter, H.E Abdullah Gül reiterated the continous support for an active participation in the activities of the D-8 group, as well as in its projects in the coming periods. The letter was highly welcomed by the D-8 Secretary General that pledges to continue working at its best performance to formulate policies to develop economies of the member states and improves their position in the global economy, as well as diversifying and creating new opportunities in intra-trade relations.
