International Workshop on Rural Development in Bangladesh

a Workshop on 'Emerging Threats and Opportunities of Globalization for Rural Development: Defining the D-8 Future Rural Development Agenda' will be organized by the Government of Bangladesh to be held at Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD), Comilla, Bangladesh from 24-28 June 2007. The documents related to the Terms of Reference, tentative program schedule, draft agenda, necessary qualifications of the participants can be found by clicking the following links: Two participants from each D-8 member state and another two participants from D-8 Secretariat are invited to attend at the said event, Mentionable, local hospitality (accommodation cost meal cost) will be provided to each participant by the host Government. The plane fare, as decided, will have to be borne by the member states.
